LET'S PLAY TAG at the AWESOME Distinct Convention on August 12th & 13th at the NEW Courtyard Marriott Convention Center on the eastern edge of Junction City.  YOUR presence is craved!  What do you get for your time there?

• FUN...kids of all ages of the K-Family will have a very visible presence; each will make some kind of creative presentation at the opening session

• MORE FUN...the district's TAG TEAM will have a zany skit??? at the opening session as well; will Anne jump out of a cake??

• Music...to keep us awake and on task...no loss of productive time; we'll sing “This is a New Beginning.'"  Hmmm...what is that all about?

• Phenomenal videos of children...portraying the '06 - '07 theme of "One Can Make a Difference."

• TAG training; we're going to grow this district like it's never been grown before!

• Breakout sessions to help us all do better service and increase our membership and/or start new clubs...and new K-Family club

• SQUARE DANCING SAT. NIGHT...for novices as well as experts...bring your partner (or find one there) and promenade.

• Friday Tour of Ft. Riley for families! WOW...relevant to our nation's efforts.  You must RSVP.

• Historical Tour for spouses and guests which will go tour historical sites in Geary County, including a special lunch and program at the Geary County Historical Museum.

• FELLOWSHIP...prior convention evaluations always rate this is as No. 1.

• Silent Auction:  buy stuff made by KS District Kiwanians...to support scholarships for KS District members to the Kiwanis University Dec. 9.  K-University is conducted by outstanding professionals from International.  Several of us are grads...and it is the most motivational "schooling" that we've ever had with Kiwanis...get your new members to ATTEND.
