The Builders Clubs of Kansas will have a fall state conference at Ottawa Middle School.  The date should be firmed up by the August convention.  We are looking at three Saturdays--Sept. 30, Oct. 7, and Oct. 14.  We are still talking with our keynoters to secure a date.

Hosting the conference will be the Ottawa Kiwanis Club, Ottawa Middle School Builders Club, and the Ottawa High School Key Club.  Local contacts are Brenda Guenter with the Kiwanis Club and Temie Lehman at the middle school.

The traditional setting of activities will take place:  educational and special mini-labs, team building activities, fun, fellowship, and lots of great raffle prizes.

The conference is tentatively scheduled to kick off at 9:30 A.M. and end around 4:00 P.M.  Registration will take place from 9:00-9:30.  Registration cost will be $10 per student and will cover snacks, a noon meal, prizes, and hand-out materials.

Registration packets will be given to Kiwanis Clubs in Junction City and the schools will be contacted by phone, e-mail, or personal visit the first week of the new school year.

Kiwanians from the Northeast area are invited to join the Builders Club members for a great day.
