Learn More About K-Kids

By Tiffany Reeves

As summer nears an end you may think K-Kids is taking a rest. Technically it is, because the kids are not in school or continuing their K-Kids service projects. But, this is a great time to start talking to principals and trying to get organized. Personally, this is a great time to have me come and speak to your club about the benefits of K-Kids. If your club is interested in starting a club, or would just like to learn more about K-Kids as a whole, feel free to contact me.

Summer is a great time for me to travel and gives me more time to work with your club. The last few months I have been helping Hutchinson start a K-Kids club. We're well on our way, with wonderful support from the administration. I look forward to working with this club. The kids will have a wonderful support system in their Kiwanis club. The enthusiasm of the Kiwanians will definitely drive the students to work harder. The club I started here in Newton has been very busy. They are finishing up the year with a penny drive to benefit the local humane society and they are collecting cans to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. They set a very lofty goal of collecting 500 pounds of cans. It's great to see their enthusiasm and excitement in helping our community. Thanks for all your support and all you do!!
