Together We Can

Committee Chairs met in Salina for a ‘Working Together Retreat’ on September 11, 2005.  Governor John Fajen called together a select group of his District Team members to develop goals and committee structures throughout the District, Division, and Clubs to best serve the Kansas District. 

Main topics of discussions were dissemination of support materials, education and personal support at Division and Club levels, and how committee chairmen could best support the Districts Lt. Governors.   

The Committees worked on the creation of new service opportunities and how they could extend existing service projects along with coordinating clubs at the Division level for larger service projects. 

Team members finalized their meeting with how they could best encourage the presentation of service projects and service committees across the District.  The theme this year “TOGETHER WE CAN ” to provide more service, increase membership, and have fun.  Committee members in attendance were Jerry Blank, Bev Robinson, Dick McCall, Lynn Heath, Dwayne Shoemaker, Don Gier,  James Mitchell, Keith Kandt, Pam Fajen, Dot Leakey, Max Klamm, and John Fajen.
