Preparing for 2005-06

As we wrap up the 2004-05 Club year we are also preparing for the upcoming 2005-06 year.  Everything should be in full swing for the new 2005-06 administrative year.  Club officers have had an opportunity to attend education classes and work with the Division Lt. Governors to prepare for installations.  District Convention was well attended with approximately 300 Kiwanians and guests from over 65 clubs.  Are you all ready for the “New Kiwanis Year?”

 

2004-05 Lt. Governors:

·         Meet with and assist the new Lt. Governor

·         Submit recommendations for Distinguished Clubs

·         Submit KI’s Governor’s Award Report

 

2005-06 Lt. Governors:

·         Complete plans and committee appointments

·         Follow the monthly things to do list in Leadership Guide

·         Prepare for Governor’s official visit

 

2004-05 Club President:

·         Complete the club annual report

·         Complete the club Distinguished score sheets and tabulate sheet and submit       to 2004-05 Lt. Governor

·         Recruit new member (Lead by example)

 

2005-06 Club President

·         Provide education for club officers, board of directors, and committee chairs

·         Follow the monthly things to do list

·         Delegate responsibilities to your committees

·         Establish new member goal

·         One new service project during the year

 

2004-05 Club Secretaries

·         Follow the monthly things to do

·         Review the new procedures for annual dues collection

·         Send new member add form with International and District fees to KI

·         Send 2004-05 annual report by Oct 15 to :

( Note:  Contact the District Office if you have not received Kiwanis International annual report forms by October 1 ).

 

·         Send 2004-05 Distinguished Score Sheet and tabulations sheet to your Division Lt. Governor by October 15.

·         Send Interclub Report for 2004-05 by November 1, 2005

 

Club Committee Chairs:

·         Conduct well-planned activities

·         Report activities to club and club secretary

·         Submit outstanding project story to the Kansas Kiwanian Editor

 

Club Members:

·         You are the most important person in the club

·         The more you give, the more you get

·         Ask committee chairs how you can help.

·         Help your club become a KI Distinguished Club

Bring in at least one new member this year
